Hi there, i'm Kristina.

I've always had a passion for health and wellness, and after being diagnosed with PCOS and hypothyroidism in late 2016, I began living a completely gluten-free and low glycemic index lifestyle. I began creating deliciously healthy recipes and posting them on Instagram, and really enjoyed it. During this process, I started conducting more research on how to cure hormone imbalances naturally, and how to grow my own personal brand through social media so I could share my research and passion with a larger audience. I was waking up at 5am to work on recipes and conduct research before heading to my day job, and continued to work when I got home at the end of the day. This is basically how Cooking with Kristina started. I realized I was so passionate about wellness and social media that I decided to pursue my passion full-time…so I took a HUGE leap of faith and resigned from my full-time job in financial services to focus all of my efforts on building the CWK brand.

While on this journey, I begin receiving a ton of questions from my followers, including: how I grew my following so quickly, how I learned to take product photography, how I was able to take the huge leap from a 9-5 job to pursuing my dream job, and how I was able to monetize my Instagram. I quickly discovered there was a huge desire for people to do exactly what I did - to pursue their passion and make it into a full-time reality. I begin conducting Instagram workshops and quickly discovered my passion for helping others build and monetize their own brand on Instagram. I now work with the best brands and influencers in the business on 1:1 Instagram coaching. workshops, and online training courses. To say I love what I do would be the understatement of the century!

In the past year, my husband, Dan, and I have moved multiple times to explore different areas of the country (hello Austin and Connecticut!), and welcomed our first child, Chase, in March of 2018 (despite being told that having children would be a challenge due to my PCOS!). I was also able to reverse my hypothyroidism through my diet and lifestyle changes. It's amazing how much has changed in just a year and a half, and I've never felt happier or healthier.
